“Kwik enables me to build the foundation of the app in Photoshop. Without it I couldn't make these apps at all and keep my sanity!”

iWitness Biblical Archaeology
Although the Bible is not a history book, it does claim to record real history. Names, places, events, and times are all mentioned as God revealed himself to the world. For a long time many of these people and places were lost to history and known only in scripture. But archaeological discoveries have shown that the Bible is an incredibly accurate book. iWitness Biblical Archaeology takes you to the digs and lets you experience many of the most important finds.
How did Kwik help?
Since I designed this first as a book it allowed me convert the layout easily to an app. It also enabled me to add interactions with a click of a button. The code it produced was easy to understand and manipulate to further customize the interactivity.
What are your favorite features?
I’m a designer more than a developer, so I love being able to create apps while focusing on what I’m good at. Kwik enables me to build the foundation of the app in Photoshop; without it I couldn’t make these apps at all and keep my sanity!
Alex’s Review
As Doug already made a nice video introducing the app, I will just provide my comments here. Biblical Archaeology is the fourth title in the iWitness series. Personally, I believe it is mandatory to any Christian or historian enthusiast. It is packed with content that cannot be found easily elsewhere, in a well designed interface. I would love to see some videos and narrations around the pages, if possible. Also, it would be nice to eliminate the annoying (I hate them) “Loading” page between page transitions.
