    Alex,It's sad to read that you consider user's input as always a 20% user. Being able to drag an object to multiple target isn't such a complicated feature for a common user. Let's consider that some of your user could be doing an interactive scrapbook, a simple app for kids where they can drag a cup of tea to various kids in the picture and they could hear funny reactions. It could be also animals instead of kids, and you can drag a vegetable and they react to this vegetable they're offered. You're saying that people won't be able...Your app is great and it can help to build great things, but please consider sometimes what people are telling you... And not only relying to external code. It's not for me a limitation it's a bug.Have a nice day,Xavier

    Yes that is ok, and again I used it really a lot in my current projects. The issue is that with with one layer, if you try to add two drag actions and want to have three different drop target, Kwik will erase the second drag action in the list. It will erase the second drag action when you click on create when you want to add a third action.Sorry to tell it reproduces at 200% this bug.Xavier

    Hi Alex,It's not possible to add more than 2 Drag actions for the same object, layer. I made several test, and as soon as you have two drag actions listed in the pannel, the third one crush one of the two others. You can't have three drag actions and more.I test it in the current Beta and the previous one, same behavior.Thanks,Xavier

    Hi,I used a lot the drag options in one of my current dev. It's great even it has some possible limit or it's a bug see my other post. For me, you should follow this process:Make a sprite sheet replacement for your man with two animations, one is slim and one is becoming fat. Your animation as slim should play forever and the one becoming fat should be playing one time.At the beginning of your level, you should set your sprite to play the slim one by using the action play sprite.You create an action where you tell the sprite to play the becomingfat.Then you create a drag action in which you ask to play the becomingfat action when the sandwich is locked to the layer of the man.To add some polish you can hide the sandwich in the action becomingfat.Hope it helps.Xavier

    Hi Francoiscoiscois,You can either use the even mode or the letterbox instead of the stretch mode. I don't stretch the visuals. I consider this as an Heresy. We had a talk with Alex on this point 🙂 and there are two tricks I often use and still use in my current dev. Here are some secrets moves 🙂1) You can play with the value in the config.lua to tell the build has such size. It might display a bigger version of your visuals but it might stay in an acceptable ratio and a fine quality if you've prepared your assets to fill some of the blanks around your interface, or main app visuals. Is your background as big as you need etc...2) Using Even instead of Stretch or Letterbox in some case will prevent from stretching your assets. So they will stay enough crisp before being stretched if the pixels are not displayed at 1:1 scale.3) In your project, you can push assets outside the size of the screen displayed, so when they're displayed on a wider screen you see all your asset if you've used the even stretch mode.I let you with these tricks.     Hi,And other comments on Kwik current beta 3, next...1) When we sort list of events, it should stay listed from the component we selected to sort. It should not list all elements as soon as we have listed on event.2) One thing is really bugging me. I feel confident I'm not the only one who has this, or it's a bad windows behavior: When you're adding script in a button, in an action, the list always displayed your last choice. You always have to scroll the windows to be able to pick a new event, condition etc... You have to do twice the number of click to select what you need. It's an old UI behavior which could be fixed in current both release. It should have been fixed before adding colors to UI, well, I think that you would be more comfortable to script if you loose less time at what you do.3) We should be able to display a list of critical elements in a project, at least in the log file after publishing: Number of variables, Can we have a memory profile for one page. I don't think it's hardcore, it's to be able to work with some visibility in our projects. It should give us an overview what we can add or how to limit.4) We should be able to call an animation with linear animation or widget animations without creating each time an action. We making each things twice so it increase the number of events, that might for sure impact on variables number.Thanks,Xavier

    Hi,I can clearly understand the point to have ads in game, and today the Biz model is clearly evolving to freetoplay and using Ads or In App purchases to offer an extended experience. On my case, the first app I made with Kwik was downloaded with a ratio of 500 free download for one paid. More and more people will pay after they see what is inside. If they can get the free version, they'll get this one and later will pay for more if it worth.I tell you from not only my experience as a Kwik user but also from my experience in game studios.ThxXavier

    Hi,You could go from a 16/9 ratio versions of your app if you made one for Android, and check the few changes which could be Android proof. Otherwise, you could also play with some values in the config.lua and play with the zoomfeatures. Maybe add some extravisuals on each side, to extand your current content with basicaly two extra borders for your 16/9 version. It's an easy adaptation, but it will not maximise your space screen. It depends on the time you want to spend on your porting.Bye,Xavier

    Hello,I have the same thinking in mind. I might work on a project which would require episodic content, the thing i might do and i'm not pleased by this is to make an update of the first app which will point to a link to the appstore to the second app. But it will take out of my first app the customers. And each time i release a content i will have to update each build to point to the right app. The least aspect is it might create some visibility to the app each release.Bye,Xavier

    Hi Alex,I was talking about the same feature you had in old versions of Kwik with the Camera feature. I've started to take a look to the group but for the while not convinced as it increases complexity in the dev of one page, as it needs to put every elements in groups because when there is a group it goes in front of all layers at render.With the group updated, can i have an animation running inside a group and animated the group with its own animation?Xavier

    Hello Alex,What should be saled following this method would be linked to episodic content. We know we have a 50Mo to target to have the app downloaded over the air, but there are two elements to have in mind:1) Releasing an app which can be released following an episodic flow doesn't always ask to have all episodes produced before releases, and simply unlocking chapters by in app purchases. It's as an heavy contraints on production schedule, because you need more time before releasing a first step. It can start to be an heavy technical limitations, as you would have to split the 50Mo in parts divided by the number of episodes... You will agree it will be like hard or not possible as 50Mo is really low, more if you're app is universal.2) Having a principal app, which is our core, could prevent to slice a content in multiple apps. If i want to release a comic, in episodes going with  50mo for each one, it would be better to keep our customers inside the app, instead of pushing them to buy multiple apps. On a branding point, it's better, you keep customers inside and focus on one experience.Thks,Xavier
