You have the option of setting up your Universal apps to be stretch to fit or letterboxed. Sounds like you may have chosen stretch to fit. Not sure if you can change that after you've already begun building the app. Maybe someone else will chime in with that answer.Be aware that some droid devices may still look a little stretchy in letterbox but that's how the device handles life, not a fault of Kwik or Corona.
You say with scale selected, “Black bars may be seen to keep the screen ratio”. Our test to a device with a wider aspect ratio than ipad hasn't shown bars but rather shows whatever the photoshop file looks like offscreen ie parts of layers outside of ipad aspect ratio. How do we switch on the black bars? Or do we need to create a black bars layer for every page?
kilopop, the reason for “black bars may appear…” is because this is controlled by Corona, not Kwik. If you plan to have you project in Letterbox format, I would suggest to create black bars around the canvas to guarantee nothing else will show up in your device.
