Given that GiMP supports much (though not all) of the same APIs as the Photoshop Plugin architecture, it would be interesting to see a port of Kwik to GiMP. Particularly since the money folks save on Photoshop would give them more money to spend on Kwik  ;D

Don't know anything about GIMP extension model. I have some requests for InDesign and Fireworks plugins. However, at this moment, our plans are to improve performance, add more features and promote the current product with Photoshop users (we are far from this yet). Tx,Alex

Any thoughts about revisiting for Fireworks yet?

Honestly no. Besides you, nobody else has asked for that. So, considering our small team of developers (me only at this moment), the cost of doing that is not worthy the investment to sell just a few copies. However, with the new Adobe Cloud services, you can “rent” Photoshop for a few months and only pay $30 bucks while using the product.
