Contest: Design the new Welcome Screen image!

When the major release of Kwik comes next year, several new things will be announced, including the end of the Flash settings process.

To celebrate the dead of this painful/annoying process, I would like to invite any Kwik user (paid or not) to participate in a contest to create the illustration that will replace the actual beta image below:

This image will appear when the user launches Kwik for the first time. It has the purpose to salute new users and remind them about the importance of properly resize the plugin panel and personalize the Settings.

Welcome Image Contest

Design an illustration that covers the window purpose (mentioned above) and send it to alex@kwiksher.com. Images must be in JPG format, with dimensions of 600x340px. Image may be signed by the artist but his/her logo or signature must not compete with the main objective of the message.

Designers may user a different text (in fact, less text is better).

Submissions will be accept till January, 31st. Winner will be announced on February, 2nd. Winner and Runner-up must sign a document allowing Kwiksher to user their images at (and for the only purpose) the Welcome screen in Kwik and other future projects.

  • Winner: receives 1 year free subscription of Kwik (paid users may opt to extend their current subscriptions with 12 months more), interview here in the blog;
  • Runner-up: receives 3 months free subscription of Kwik (paid users may opt to extend their current subscriptions with 3 months more);

Be creative! The clock starts NOW!
