Interview with Sabrina Costa

This week I had the pleasure to talk to Sabrina, from RSC Development, author of “Preserve”, an iOS app made with Kwik for the Brazilian market.

Alex) Tell a little bit about you and your company?

iPad1We are a team of developers (two people): Rodrigo Costa (Brazilian) and Sabrina Costa(French). We develop applications for Apple iOS at the moment and we have future plans to produce for Google Android platform, including Nook Color and Amazon’s Kindle Fire.

Our target is the world! Yes, we certainly have greater appreciation for all our domestic market – Brazil – but we plan to launch apps and games for all platforms not only in English but in other languages too.

What is the app about?

Preserve“, is our first application made with Kwik. An educational application for children and teenagers (interactive quiz form) enabling the future generations to have an idea of the natural richness that has been produced on the planet.

Preserve is a current issue for the human growth population, intensive use of biological resources and the development of an economic system.iPad4

It’s a funny application with sound, images and graphics effects to stimulate your learning and analyses of the reader profile.

This application is available in Portuguese at this moment, with English and French coming in the future.

How did Kwik help you to build it? Any favorite features?

I found Kwik through my husband. I am not a programmer ( I have a background in European Marketing and International Business) and I love Kwik, because I use Photoshop everyday and Kwik helps me a lot (interface, easy to use, quickest).

I started my first application 3 month ago with a cooking application (I am fan). However I have not published it yet. I then started  Preserve and another drawing application called MegaManga, that will be released soon.

I never thought I could be a developer. I am so happy and Kwik show me the way to add development to my designer skills.

Personally, I think Kwik has a beautiful future ahead. Keep going!

Any trick/tip you would like to share?

Two months ago, my husband said to me: “you should do an app about drawing and painting. It is what you love to do!”. But I didn’t have any idea how to do it via Corona. When Kwiksher announced the new feature in its newsletter, I got so happy that I started my app without waiting.

What is next for you and your company?

MegaManga (drawing and painting application made with Kwik)– Universal app coming in a few days;

La Marmite (French cooking application, also made with Kwik);

-Brazilian cooking application;

– Learning Portuguese application (English and French version)
