Map Replacement

Replacements allow the content of the layer being replaced with a different content.

The Map Replacement window allows you to configure a map that will appear in replacement of the original layer content. For example, you can replace a blank rectangle image from your layer with a map in your final project. Select the layer you want to replace and click the Map replacement. The following window appears:

Information about the current layer content will appear in the top of the window (position and size). It is important to match the same layer content size and position with the final map size.

Type selects the way the map will render. Normal renders the map as a drawing, Satellite shows pictures and Hybrid mixes both Normal and Satellite views.

The Width and Height fields allow you to change the auto captured layer settings.

When enabled, the Enable zoom checkbox will allow users to zoom in and out the map.

When enabled, the Enable scroll checkbox will allow users to scroll the map to different orientations (top, bottom, left and right) to reveal other areas.

Field Initial lat. and Initial long. collects the latitude and longitude of the map.

When enabled, the Add marker checkbox will add a pin icon in the latitude/longitude specified above. Title and Subtitle are optional items used with the Add marker, and will appear in the marker window.
