How did Kwik help?

I would not have been able to do this app or any of the others I have lined up without Kwik. I’m not a coder and I had been on the lookout for something like Kwik for a long time. Being able to create apps without coding means I can build them myself and concentrate on look/design. All I have to do now is learn variables and a few other things and I might be able to add in a few other features to my apps.

Kwik, the way I see it, is very logical and intuitive. Once you have the basics and learn it in’s and out’s of it, you will be off and racing with your app creation.

What are your favorite features?

For this app, being my first. I loved the basics of Kwik, the simplicity of creating drag objects, sprite sheets etc. How quickly you can make changes to the look and interactivity of your app and do a build and test it.
I’m glad I found Kwik early on, so that I can learn the new features as they are added and so my apps can develop and grow with Kwik.

Any tips and tricks to share?

Learn what Kwik can do and what you are able to do, plan everything out first, even if it’s just on paper. From the look/design to and interaction, it’ll save you a lot of time and redoing of things if it’s all planned out first!

Alex’s Review

Froot Media cooked a good recipe: a known game, with great illustrations, nice sound effects and smooth animations. This is what TicTacToe Monkeys is about. Everything is well planned and the experience is much better than the original “pen and paper”. The only missing thing (they are working on that) is the lack of an auto “solved” feature (this way, inattentive players will get informed when the game is over). It is beautiful, with great playability and, even better, it is free!
