    Fantastic! thank you Yamamoto, it works, I can now reorder the groups, it’s working perfectly. I just need to remap my particles to the correct external files then should be able to release my app.

    I am struggling with the difference between layer order in Kwik3 and kwik4.

    If I have a group called “head” and inside it I have layers called “face”, “eyes”, Mouth.
    Then another group called “body” and inside it layers called “neck”, “arms”, “torso”

    If I wanted to place group “head” on top of group “body”. In kiwk3 I created new blank layers called “-gp_head” and “-gp_body”. I could then use these new blank layers to reorder the groups. Not the content in the groups but reorder what group was on top/below the other groups.

    Can i do this in Kwik4 too?

    sorry for the delay. I emailed you my build folder. I can’t find a layer starting with a numeric value and the project is still black in the corona Simulator.

    Hi Yamamoto,
    I went through my project and there are no background layers, they are all .jpg files. But the Cornoa Simulator is still black.

    I am getting the blank/black screen in the Corona Simulator again when I publish my project. I am using Photoshop cc 2015.5 and Kwik 1216. I updated the template and it is still black.

    What is the recommended version of photoshop to use?

    Thanks Yamamoto.
    I installed the new version and tested the particles on page 2 and 3, They work perfectly. I forgot to update the tmplt folder previously. When I updated it, it all worked in the Coronal Simulator.

    I will now go through my project to get all the other particles working. Then I’ll reorder the groups and finally test the page curl.

    at the start of every external code I have then reimport?

    is there any space in there?

    Great, the delay in Linear Animation now works perfectly.

    The compress png works.My kiwi 3 project compressed to 42.2mb, The Kwik 4 project compresses to 38.4mb!

    However, all the Zzzz and tear particles in my project have stopped playing in this version. Any ideas?

    In page 004 – bedroom.
    The Linear Animations lin_dadout and lin_momout both have a Delay set to 1 second.
    These animations are in a Play Random action (act_dadout, act_monout) they are triggered by the button but_monitor.

    In page 010 – houses.
    Button ‘but_hsebot’ triggers an if then statement ‘act_haboton’. This triggers Linear Animation lin_cara, this has a Delay set to 2 seconds.

    All of these Linear Animations trigger another action when completed, these actions are activated, but the actual original linear animation is not.

    I have installed Kwik4_RC_2016_1101a.zip and ran a new test on my project. Everything published and I could view it in the Corona Simulator. Here are a few bugs.

    1. The pivot points for animations are not the same as Kwik3. This can be seen on my CEO page, the characters arms do not pivot at the elbow.

    2. There seems to be a problem with some Linear Animations. I think it may be the Linear Animations with a Delay Parameter. The animation is not triggered.

    3. The thumbnails on the Navigation Bar stay visible for a lot longer than Kwik 3, I think Kwik 3 may only be about 4 or 5 seconds.

    4. I still couldn’t get the png Compression to work. I got the following error…

    I just did a test with build Kwik4_beta_2016_1030. I took the project I sent you Yamamoto. I when through it and clicked off all the play random check boxes in the Play Random Actions. Then I published with Publish Images selected. Like Chris, All I can see in the simulator is a black screen.

    It doesn’t seem to be saving out the images into the Build4/assets/images folder, there is nothing in there.
