    Also now testing in the xcode simulator with iPad Air produces an iAd error and i’m not using iAds:

    Hi again,

    Just doing some bug fixing myself. For each of the file not found errors they seem to be capitalisation problems. If I fix each one the error goes away.

    But I cannot fix the iAds error from above as I assume a whole set of files is missing – or at least I do not know where they are.

    Hope this helps a bit.

    Oh and the files I had to rename so far were:

    actionCommand.lua -> ActionCommand.lua
    videoAction.lua -> VideoAction.lua

    Hi again,

    A further update.

    I stripped out all the code from the iAd file and deleted some portions of error handling code from Context.lua and now my project will run in the xcode simulator and on iPhone.

    Not the most elegant solution but it works.

    Hopefully you will be able to sort this out soon.

    Further updates.

    To get a little further along, if I delete the build4 and tmplt folders. Then reload my project and build in the Corona simulator. That fixes all the previous problems with the Action lua files but now i’m stuck with the iAds error.

    I cannot figure out a way to bypass this error and have the app work.

    Editing:
    extlib/robotlegs/Context.lua

    Line 51 — Runtime:addEventListener(eventName, function(e)context:onHandleEvent(e)end)

    Commenting out line 51 will make the app run on the iPhone but obviously then the actions and events don’t work.

    Nearly there though.

    Several hours later.

    Figured it out.

    Application.lua Line:43

    Runtime:dispatchEvent({name=”app.Ads”, event=”init”})

    Needs to be:

    Runtime:dispatchEvent({name=”app.ads”, event=”init”})

    It turns out the issue was caused in plugin build.settings and unnecessary call to iAds API.

    Yes it was quite fun poking around behind the curtain.

    Those bugs have been fixed, everything runs smooth now.

    However, I have noticed that when selecting Project properties the Scale option cannot be changed and sticks to Stretch.

    Hi again,

    There seems to be another bug with Global variables not being accessible.

    I created a Global variable on page1 and then try to change the variable via a button on page2 and get the following error:

    Great fixes in the 1101 build.

    There is another small bug in the If and Else condition actions.

    If you have more than one variable and you set up your if/else condition. Each time you go back into the condition to edit the variable defaults back to the top variable in the list.

    Hi again

    I think there might be a couple more bugs.

    1) Global variables don’t seem to be getting set. I have tried to keep track of them with replace text layer replacements (which just shows nothing) and also via external code which outputs ‘nil’ to the console.

    There isn’t a special table where Globals are being stored is there? Anyway I don’t think they are being set as when tested against my If/Else conditions they don’t work. But Local variables work fine.

    2) Playing around with text variable layer replacements doesn’t seem to work either. I thought it was maybe because I was using a number for my variable but I tried a text variable and that didn’t work either.

    I created a new project with a background and text then added some background sound. This all worked in the corona simulator.

    Then I added some linear animation to the title and I’m getting a black screen with a
    — unhandledError —
    in the corona simulator terminal.

    I have installed Kwik4_RC_2016_1101a.zip and ran a new test on my project. Everything published and I could view it in the Corona Simulator. Here are a few bugs.

    1. The pivot points for animations are not the same as Kwik3. This can be seen on my CEO page, the characters arms do not pivot at the elbow.

    2. There seems to be a problem with some Linear Animations. I think it may be the Linear Animations with a Delay Parameter. The animation is not triggered.

    3. The thumbnails on the Navigation Bar stay visible for a lot longer than Kwik 3, I think Kwik 3 may only be about 4 or 5 seconds.

    4. I still couldn’t get the png Compression to work. I got the following error…
